Love museums

Post by BuckeyeSgt »

Had to go to Wichita Falls to pick up a rifle. Finally got to stop in Saint Jo, TX to see the arty museum there. Largest private collection. They had even just got a full battery of 88’s in the week before.

DAMN some nice pieces there! Saw a few that would look good sitting in my front yard. Don't know how the neighbors would feel about it!

What's the story on this one? Are they actually trying to se it? I'm assuming it's a reproduction.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I’d need a lot of powder and steel.

My wife was stationed at Shepherd AFB, but I never had the chance to go to that Museum.
I did manage to hit Fort Sill’s museum before she retired.
As well as the outdoor portion and there was a reenactment going on as well.
Not bad, but I will admit that Fort Benning’s Infantry Museum is one of my all time favorite military museums in the U.S..
