Just getting back here boltaction. No I didn’t send it in for upgrade. I’m perfectly fine with the original 3 screw design. I have been buying some custom grips for my Rugers from a guy that runs a small grip business. Chigs Grips and I sure am happy with them. My latest are spalted dogwood that I put on my 17hmr

Re: Single action rimfires
I finally found the Ruger Wrangler birdshead to add to my rimfire fun. It goes well with the other 2 Wranglers and with the short barrel and curved grip frame it really handles well.
Re: Single action rimfires
Can you get fancy wood grips for that one as well?

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Re: Single action rimfires
Seems a lot of people have these Ruger (3 screw) .22/.22 mag
Here is mine from 1969 .. .22 mag cylinder. I used when I went hunting (back in the days).
Killed a deadly porcupine once. Shot it off a limp from about 30 feet.
Have a real nice holster (western style) also.

Are those Ruger Wranglers made by or in the same manner as the Heritage 22 revolvers? They look similar.
