AKM Pistol Grip Screw

So, I'm trying to get this straight and right the first time.

The screw that comes with the stock WASR pistol grip doesn't work with the milsurp pistol grip.

Are all AK platform milsurp pistol grip screws created equal?
Can I use the nut plate that is on the WASR already with a milsurp screw?
What length screw would be correct for the milsurp pistol grip?

Like to finish the stock swap up on the WASR. Lacking the correct pistol grip screw, and the cleaning kit cavity spring to make her complete and proper looking.
