I love these types of threads. Amazing variety within one model. Envious of you old timers who got in before and during the golden age!

Here's my 1932 Tikka M27 Bike Trooper. The bolt handle is believed to be budda-ed in Finland.

Re: M27 Review...........Post Your m27's here!!!!
I recently picked up this 1940 M27. The hand guard has a crack in it. Otherwise a pretty nice rifle. I'm thinking or using some Acraglass along with mesh tape on the inside of the hand guard for the repair. I received the rifle on Monday, and haven't had many sunny days for good photos. After I fix the hand guard, I'll swap a depot sling from a CG marked Westinghouse and use a spare CG leather sling on the Westinghouse.

That is a nice rifle Duck. You should make a full thread in the collectible Mosin forum.

Finnish M27 stocks are nearly impossible to find. There are M28/30 stock available, but you have to drill the holes for the hardware. I don't knownif the rifle would fit in an M39 stock. A person who is good with wood working might be able to make a forend (you'd still need the front nose piece, cleaning rod, and probably cleaning rod retainer). Might be best to use the rifle as a shooter.

Picked up this 1937 Tikkakoski M27 today. Pure dumb luck but I'll take it. Bolt is Finn matching on the handle ball. Floorplate and buttplate are not numbered so I assume they've been scrubbed.

1932 VKT I just received today. Looks to have been refurbed and then stored away. All the metal is blued. Stock is a finger spliced M28/30 with shims. Receiver has cut out for the winged bolt, but the winged bolt was probably scrapped during refurb. Bore has some minor pitting--I think the previous owner may have shot corrosive ammo and didn't clean it well. Pitting wasn't horrible, but the patches came out brown for a while.
