Very nice. The stock disc tells that it belonged to 4th Squadron of Uusimaa Dragoons Regiment (Uudenmaan Rakuunarykmentti).

Not common to see stock discs. And then to see one on a stock with a hole in it? Almost too much!

Thanks for sharing.

Thank Dave for going 40 miles each way and out of his way to take the great pictures!

That rifle has a great trigger and is dead on at what you aim it at no matter what ammo or hold you use. Trigger pull is about 3 pounds or less on guage. It is absolute joy to shoot and enjoy! The fellow it came from was at the show Saturday and said hello to me and Dave. He had so many great rifles in his lifetime and shot them all. I Thank God I have two of them! Bill :D

I have been told that unit still exists in the Finnish Defense Force and has a proud unit history, that was really interesting to learn. Again Thanks to Dave for the great pictures and patience and above all Thanks to you all for the positive comments. Needless to say I have enjoyed sharing my collection with all of you! Bill :D

Thanks to Dave is right, but also a huge thank you to you Bill for allowing him to visit, photo, and share some of your firearms. Some of us could go our lifetime and never see such, then there are some luck stories like the recent M27RV that showed up here also.8-)
