Is 165$ a reasonable price on a good condition chicom type 53?

I would say that is right in the ballpark. You can order one but you have to pay shipping and it would come up to that at least. If you get to check it out it might be worth it as the other way is a crapshoot. :D

Try to get one from 1956. less than 2 Month's of them were Made. Jan, Feb, 1956.

Hey billybob123,

I just paid $188 after shipping and hand pick for my Type 53. I'd say that's a pretty good deal if you can see it before purchasing.

Wow, $165? Prices have gone up, I was paying less than $20 each for these back in 1990, but that's the way of things. Everything is more expensive now.
