What the heck is it???
What the heck is it???
Found a bunch of these laying on the ground at the gun range and I have never seen these before. There's no headstamp on these and it looks like very little room for powder. The .45acp and 9mm are there just for size comparison.
Anyone know what they are?

Re: What the heck is it???
I'm taking a big guess here, but I am thinking a case that has hard rubber bullets with primer only?
Re: What the heck is it???
Womder if it's a indoor training round similar to this.

Yes sir that could be it or something very similar anyway. Besides the RCMP using our range the fish cops also do a lot of training here so it could be something they use.

They look like they are made to reuse many times, you could probably get components and reload those. I'm wondering how you would knock the primers out though.

Fish cops?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I see, makes sense, I wouldn't trust some of the DEC cops around here with real ammunition either.

Like in the Air Force, some of us refer to Security Forces, formally known as SPs Security Police, as Sky-Cops.Junk Yard Dog wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 5:42 amI see, makes sense, I wouldn't trust some of the DEC cops around here with real ammunition either.

They probably do, I've never called them anything but officer and Sir. I got caught on some posted land one time and fully cooperated with the Warden and Deputy Sheriff, they let me go.Junk Yard Dog wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 4:30 pmDo they get pissed when someone calls them that?

Our fish cops have been called fish cops for as long as I can remember.
They don't mind if you call them fish cops as long as you do it with a smile on your face.

My yard is not way back up in the hills were the disappeared go, the lumps are 13 rusty mason jars buried out in the ground. Joke's on the thieves who dig them up, I filled them with cat turds.ffuries wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 6:18 pmIs that why there are all those lumps in your yard......?Junk Yard Dog wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:46 pmYou got lucky, there are places here if you get caught on posted land maybe nobody see you no more except your picture on a milk carton.steelbuttplate wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 9:52 amThey probably do, I've never called them anything but officer and Sir.
