Buy it. Run there. M/27 have lagged behind other Finns but lately have been getting more respect. Especially original ones without popsicle sticks. Seen them sell for over $500 repeatedly. One went for $750.

That sucks. Hopefully it was a common year.

I missed a round 1935 Izhevsk 91/30 like that once. Waited a week to go back for it. and watched a guy buy it.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

That is when you whisper in the ear of the seller, "This guy is a felon in three states, he works with the BATF doing stings...."

How about that. A M27 for the price of a refurbished 91/30. that was a good deal
