buying this mosin on Saturday. m27???

Post by scribs87 »

Hey guy this is my first post. Iv been reading alot on the this forum and i figured id open up my first post with a rifle im picking on this Saturday. Guy said it looks alot like the 91/30 i posted for sale on my local firearms trading site. Told me about so markings and that its a 1933 with SA on the sides and marked FD. From the photos im thinking its a m27 and the guy only wants $275. Claims its in good-very good condition and never once said finnish or m27. I dont think he realized what it was Exactly.

once i figure out how to upload the images from my phone ill post them.

I have photos on my phone. Is there anyway to post them? Anyway iv seen values on many m27 posts but all of them are 3-5years old. From what i was gathering $250-$350 was the going rate for a m27. Has that changed at all? Is that still the going rate these days?

I have lost so many nice things doing that I have learned to live even with a bad decision! Get to him and get some money in his hands before you are in my class! Good Luck! Bill

Also are the popsicle nose caps any more rare or worse or whatever? I guess its not the oldest nose cap so probably not.. also he said the bolt numbers matches the receiver. to my understanding it does not mater much on the fin Guns? All when i check this gun out would it matter if the bore is perfect or is dark and used exceptable on a rifle of this rarity?

That's a good price. It's a Russian stock cut and reworked to fit the new barrel.

You should stop posting about it until it's actually in your hands or I may figure out where it's located.

If it had nice decent rifling I'd give that. Doesn't look like a finger joint stock, but it don't matter if it's a 27. SBP
