Yes was talking about a Russian capture. One I was looking at was a BYF 44 Mixmaster. RC . I was thinking the 500 range maybe even 600. But it got north of 700 and I was out.

J&G has a Yugo k98 for $250 and Wideners has a peened one for $399 without Yugo crest. I am assuming the peened ones from wideners is Russian capture. what do you think is the better buy?

Trying to decide whether to pick up one of those yugo k98. What is the difference between them and the russian capture k98? I know the yugo ones have their crest stamped on top.....anything else I should know about them. On a budget and can't afford 700 to 800 Mauser right now but would like to have...

I found a 52 tula at a gun store....how does my ghost compare? Value? quality? they are telling me theirs is a Chinese sks but it has the tula star on the top. did not check the stock. Don't believe it was a number matching. mine is a number matching. thinking about making a trade..........

I received a nice SKS numbers matching that is supposedly from china. Not norinco.... but it has no factory markings and no letters before the numbers. It is a six digit sks like 1863#$.
