Re: GB auction - Rare Finnish SAT M91 Mosin Nagant

My guess is he was involved with the processing of these cheap old dirty rifles. Seeing hundreds and hundreds of them go through that when an oddball one came along, he set it aside for himself. That was a good move considering there was no info on them at that time. If he didn't buy them, they wou...

Re: What would you do with this?

Mark I really appreciate that Mark, but this was just a theoretical question. This AK belongs to my buddy. I am just going to recrown it, after he and another guy...

Re: very very unusual Finnish 1891/24

I have heard of Erma Erfurt m/24's before. They are VERY rare. The only one I know of in North America was a deactivated on in Canada, so I assume this is the same rifle. The guy who did the deactivation was a collector who deactivated all (?) of his collection because he was worried about future g...

Yea I hear and understand that.

....but my question was, is the /25\ mark found mostly on the 91/30's compared to the M44's. I don't recall seeing it on a M44.
Yes, sorry, found on m44's too.

Triangle 25 appears on PU scopes from time to time. I wouldn't buy a rifle specifically because it has that mark.
