That's why I made it, it's easier to copy what you see than read about it and try to copy still pics.

I looked at other "help" videos on You Tube about how to take the bolt apart and the guy's hands blocked most of the views. Yours is clear and precise.

I put the camera on a tiny tripod and kept and eye on the screen to make sure you could see what I was doing.

Jim, that was a great video and it will be a huge help to the new Mosin victims.....but...I have a couple of things to say about the presentation......

First, you need to come visit me long enought to get some tan on those hands....geez, don't they have sun up there?

Second, that accent accent has got to go. On your sun tan visit, I will teach you some yalls, and get-outta-towns, and stuff like that. Maybe get you a little Southern Drawl-to-go. :D

Dam Arthritis, it's made me into a cold pu....it's made it difficult for me to go without gloves except in summer months, the cold sets into my finger joints with a pain that is near unbearable if I expose my hands to cold. My friend Scott spent four years stationed in Norfolk VA, he came back with some yalls, and such  I can pull off a passable southern accent when I want to, I have watched every episode of Dukes of Hazzard at least 40 times each :) I try to speak clearly when making the videos so everyone understands what I am saying. It's not easy for me, I forget my language constantly, especially in the last minute of a ten minute video and then have to start the whole fu**in thing over again. You forgot shit fire and save box matches, as old Cooter used to say :) Worse is when I finish a video, upload it and then realize I left off a bunch of stuff because I plain out forgot.

Great video, for sure. But is that an original Soviet 2x4? I'd hate to think you're bubba'ing your bolt with aftermarket lumber...

Great video can't believe it took me so long to get the time to watch it.

Do you have a you tube channel I could follow and watch other videos?

If anyone is interested in saving JYD's videon onto their computer so that you can watch it at any time, even when offline, or to burn on DVD, just copy the web address and go to this link and put the web address in the area indicated as "VID". You can save it to hi-def MP4 and even watch it on your TV.
