My Favorite Range in San Antonio

Post by sapistolero »

When I go shoot, I go to Bracken range just outside of San Antonio. Reasonable rates and a cool very rustic set up.

These wall hangings are from the range...

You even got a little cart to run up and swap targets with ?? :Drool1: Be nice to have that at my friends place were it's a hike down a hill and across 275 yards of ground to reach the stands.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

LOL, no I wish. The little cart is for employees, at this particular rifle range you yourself can't go down range. The employees retrieve/replace the targets for you.

Sounds like a cushy job for someone, ride around in the cart all day.

:vcool: :vcool: :vcool: Is it like the driving range when they go out to collect you see if you can hit the cart? You get to shoot at the guys in the cart?

Nice range. I wish we had something that nice here in MS. I like the Nylon 66 in the picture; don't see many of those.

We had a thread going on about the Remmy nylons someplace, I love .22's and tend to grab 2-3 a year, but none of these has yet crossed my path, I do have another Remington 552 however.

I've had no interest in Nylons but with everybodies comments I might rethink me priorities.

All of my .22's have wood stocks, but any .22 is interesting to me, I love a rifle that is affordable to shoot :)
