Selected for a managed hunt!

Post by Mike »

Which means that next January I become one of 40 hunters with exclusive rights to hunt over 4300 acres for a week and take two deer each! It doesn't get much better than that! :D

Let me make a short, open, blanket comment. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. Any gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a descent person is no threat to anyone--- except bad people. -- Charleton Heston

Guns are not good, they are not evil. Save those descriptions for the people holding the firearm. -- Unknown

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

They are smarter then they look and can smell everything, even what you had for dinner the night before...So eat deer the night before.

I have found that the easiest way to hunt deer is to just use my accelerator pedal, or take my eyes off the road for one second early in the morning.

Yeah my neighbors nephew seems to like hunting this way too. He's on his third car in a few years from just this method. It sure is good for dismantlers.

This hunt is shotgun with slugs only, during the regular season I intend to use the M44.

Single shot, double side by side, double under over, pump, or auto shotgun? :)

I'll use my BPS, it's the only shotgun I own.

I ordered a set of Williams sights for it, they will be delivered tomorrow. I'm wondering if I can still shoot skeet with them fitted. :D
