"Collectors Forum" - All Mosin Nagant are discussed here. Also the Russian and "Finnish capture" SVT38 and SVT40. This is an excellent place for new Mosin owners to ask questions. We have some of the best experts here looking forward to your questions. If you post a Mosin sniper rifle here, we may or may not move it to the sniper forum.

Preservation forum, please no altered military surplus rifles or discussions on altering in this forum. No sportsters. Please read the rules at the top of each forum

Thank you guys for all your kind words. I finally took it to the range last week and it lives up to its looks! Shot several rounds at 100 yards and it has a very crisp trigger pull and is as accurate as its reputation. :D

very very nice, very nice picture taking of a great rifle. mosins are very nice looking in my book.

It's an excellent PU and it will be directed to Rons attention as soon as he is back.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

It is so nice to see a rifle with this many original features. Thanks so much for taking & posting all of the high quality photos, they really help us see what is there. I do hope this one makes the Showcase.

You are correct... No reason to not include those who Posted before the contest.
