Winchester mdl 1894
Winchester mdl 1894
I've had this rifle for a couple of years. It's a 1894 win in 25-35 caliber. It has a 20in barrel, "Expurts" tell me it's been cutoff. This old rifle is a real shooter. I switched sights on my highwall Uberti and I decided to put the peep sight on the win. Looking forward to sighting it in this week. +dhic aka cliff

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C. S. Lewis

Very nice '94! That should be fun at the range
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

what did ya expurts judge that barrel on...?
Re: Winchester mdl 1894
Tom, they said the mag tube wasn't right. They questioned both length and how it was attached. That's allright, I've about $1000 in this one compared to $2500 ones at gunshows. Works great, great bore, great caliber. I wouldn't take my money back.
