Want to know if your M39 was sold originally by Burn's.
Send me your serial number (email or PM) and I'll look it up.
I have many (but not all) serial numbers and description, and price.

All but a couple of my M39's came off Pat's list along with numerous issued looking M91/30's. Great times.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I don't have anything that Burn's sold to Classic.
And, I am missing a few that Burn's sold also.
Don't have a COMPLETE list of all M39's.
But I have a fair amount of them.

I don’t have my serial number handy but I’ll never forget the pride I had in buying my antique receiver M39. Kari Prager found it in his local honey hole gun shop in California. The shop owner let him take it home at which point he disassembled it and took meticulous photos. He sent me about a hundred photos of it and put his seal of approval on it for me to buy. He said just trust me, which was a easy thing to do. Receiver date of 1898 VKT stamped and Finn matched bolt to receiver for 300.00 plus shipping. 50.00 shipping got it delivered in a new hard rifle case.

Kari and his "honey hole".
I knew his "honey hole" very well. Now both gone.

All of mine came from the Burns Bunch. I miss looking at a dozen rifles every week to see which one would be mailed to me.
