On a roll

Post by SA1911a1 »

Local pawn shop closing the doors after decades of screwing people. I went in to say goodbye and made a lowball offer on an old revolver, one of three guns left in the place. The old tightwad took it. The old revolver is tight as a tick and looks like it was carried a lot and shot a little. The best that I can figure is that it is a Model 1903, self ejector, third change with a date falling somewhere in the 30s. .32 S&W long caliber, and I have some laying around. I certainly don't need another revolver but I just can't walk off and leave a deal.... I am trying to finalize a deal on a cracked stock Romanian SKS tomorrow if things go right.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
