1934 M27 Tikkakoski
For your viewing and drooling pleasure is one of my Finnish M27s. A 1934 Tikkakoski, "Tikka" if you must, one of 7453 produced that year. You can see it is [SA] and "D" stamped indicating the chamber has been reworked to accept the 7.62X54r Russian round. I bought this along with about 8 other Finns as he was liquidating his collections to go live in Florida.

M27, my weakness of the Mosins. This is a prime example of why.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The last rifle I got was a 1932 Tikka M27 built on a 1915 Tula. Yours as a prettier stock, but does it have wings? Did they even do winged bolts in 34? IDK
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I don't think they were doing that in '34. It was really just in the first ones that they did that.
