If you have photos of the bolt serial numbers, please post them.
I see a big difference between the Russian made serials and the m91/59's. Want to see the etched on numbers the most.

Here are my EP'd 91/59's... No rhyme or reason for this. What are your thoughts? I've often thought that these guns were built in multiple locations, i.e. some locations that didn't have the ability to stamp the bolts matching. Or, perhaps the EP'd s/n's were very late builds...dolk wrote:If you have photos of the bolt serial numbers, please post them.

Interesting way they force matched that bolt, left the original serial number 6 and stamped the 33 in next to it to match the receiver.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Seems like it was list as a M 38, broken band spring and front sight post missing.

EDIT: I am brain-dead, I saw 91/59 and thought 91/38. I do have one to show....It was either this one or an M-38 that I negotiated a substantial discount from a pawn shop because it was missing the bayonet and lug.....(all is fair in war and pawn shops)SA1911a1 wrote:I have yet to see one of these in person.

I don't know where IV got that information. I suspect I know but can't say it here... Got to love these. Nice gun.
Re: M91/59 Review...........Post Your M91/59's here!!!!
Question.... I have seen 91/59's (marked as such on the barrel) in M44 stocks (bayonet cut out)...is this considered a proper stock for the weapon?
My first required post...a to do....but I am interested in that answer.

The 91/59 has a stock all its own. Others will fit but not correct.
