The CMP has just taken in 107,000 M1 Garands that were parked in the Philippines and Turkey. Line up and take a number.

Good to see that they got some fresh rifles to keep them going for a while. Really wish they'd get some M1 carbines in as well. That one is still on my want list. Curious to see the condition of the Philippine ones, have heard some mixed reports on those.

There's already been a few Turkish returns showing up from CMP Sales that have been posted on the CMP forums the past couple of weeks. I'm glad they showed up as it made it easier for me to complete my goal of at least one from each manufacturer.
