Lubbock find

Went to Lubbock for work. Decided to hit a shop. Walked around 3 times and was about to leave and did a 180.
Another P38. AC 44 this time. Just took it apart and everything matches. Has what I think is some blood pitting on the left side of the slide. Also had two items waiting on me when I got home.

Those were in the boxwith the pistol? Awesome. I don't get sceered much, but it gives me the creeps to think what that pistol has been used for. I hope I find something like that in my lifetime. :thumbsup:

No I ordered the Iron Cross and defense shield. They just happened to be waiting on me when I got home from Lubbock.

At least I don't have to go to Columbus anymore. There is a casino there now we always went to. I'd come home with no guns and no cash. Did win $5000 one time. That bought a couple guns.

You'd think right? Tell wife you win $5k. Then pay taxes. Wife says we're is my $2500. Give wife money. Pay federal taxes. End up with 1300. :chuckles:

Any wartime p38 is a must add to a collection, besides they work. That was a really exceptional :thumbsup: find
