Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Re: Replica M37 Trench Gun
I would be hard pressed to get excited about a replica at that price. At $300.00 I might work up some interest.

I'd get two if they were $300 right now.

I hear Jim snickering in the background, just how much would an original cost if you could even find one ?

Re: Replica M37 Trench Gun
Not as much as my Winchester 1897, but still a lot. It's the same damn gun as a regular Ithaca Model 37 with a plain stock, shorter barrel and that idiotic heat shield/bayonet mount. That's the most useless part on my Winchester but I retain it as I do not alter milsurps. I also have a Model 12 trenchgun and something from Stevens, I forget the model at the moment, it was used to train gunners or some such. I do have a regular Ithaca37, possibly two, nice guns.

Stevens 520 or 620. I like 37's, but I wouldn't pay more than $400 for a repro 37 trench gun. Originals are big bucks.

Re: Replica M37 Trench Gun
Remember that's MSRP, not the out the door price. Problem is the out the door price will still be twice what it should be.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
