One of them new fangled bullpups...

Just got a ban era BushMaster M17s. It WAS unfired before I got my hands on it. It needs a little tweaking as some of the controls like the left side mag release is a bit too tight to work right. The gun HATES steel cased Russian ammo cause it's too under powered. I ran some Lake City stuff from 2016 and it ran flawlessly. It likes everything from USGI aluminum mags, IMI polymer mags, Hex mags, Mag pull mags, Ar stoner mags, Lancer 5 mags, and the C-products mags I have.

I dropped a Holosun red dot with the Acss reticle on top and it sort of completes the rifle. I have an old school muzzle brake I'm gonna add as well.

The only two gripes I have is that it spits gas from the ejection port up under my glasses and the fore end gets hot after a mag and half. Not mag dumps but moderately paced aimed fire.

I like it!

Handled a few at gun shows, never shot one. I do want to try a Tavor sometime.

I still like the TRW Low Maintenance Rifle better.

I'd like to even see one of the TRW... then buy it of course.

These Bushmasters are pretty neat. Soft shooting little rifles and they are pretty well balanced.
