Decent Eddystone P14
Decent Eddystone P14
Found this one last year. It is an early 4 digit Eddystone P14 in 303 British. The bolt and rear sight are matching and the stock is Eddystone marked. It retains its original volley sights, as most have been through a Weedon rebuild and have had their volley sights removed. The gun appears to be correct per the book "Allied Rifle Contracts in America". I wanted one of these for my collection to go with my SMLEs.

There was a P14 on Gunbroker recently that I wanted. A Rem, w/volly, marked DP but not demilled, I bailed under$500 and it went for $580. My hunt goes on..

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
