Blued 45 was a dirty mess and very low asking price and the seller was happy to part with it.A good cleaning shows a near mint Model 27. Pictures do not show this. The Argentine marked Colt was also on a table with a lot of 1911A1s, As usual prices were sky High, I was looking for a Caspian commander frame and the seller had one at twice the normal cost. Sitting with the 1911s was this all Colt marked Argentine pistol ,asking price was half the cost of Caspian frame. It went home with me!!! A good cleaning showed a gun also in near mint condition. It is a 1930s production by Colt. The parts of the Commander were put to use,but I still need the commander frame . The slide came off the Colt and is also all Colt marked except for the Argentine crest.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
