Here comes a complete table of contents for both of KH Wrobel's books on Mosin-Nagant rifles. Maybe this makes finding a specific topic a little bit easier to those who own these books but have no command of German language. Entries for chapters found in both volumes are printed red, entries for chapters which are found exclusively in Volume II are printed in red and in italics.

Why is there a table of contents in English for a book written in German?? Very interesting, thank you for posting it. :)

Because I translated it - not the book, only the table of contents, of course.

That was a lot of work. Thanks so much. I have saved it to my computer. Now if I only had Volume 1 but my Volume 2 will be much more useful.

I have never seen his books but if that is just the table of contents the books must be huge.

Thanks for this work! I have both reference books and had to use the pictures to try and figure out what was being discussed. I wish KH would have done an English recap at the end of each chapter like Palokangas.

There's words in those books? I have had my set for a couple of years now and am still going through the pictures!

Exactly why I don't have either of them yet! I get frustrated enough with the Palokangas's 3 volumes with some sub titles and such in English. I guess I have to admit the price for the size of the book has intimidated my cheap butt too though.

Great work interpreting that thing! Thanks for all the effort even though I don't have either book. Bill :D

No copys, no plans to get any if I can't read them.

I don't want to campaign for these books here - no matter how great they are - because I'm well aware of the language barrier faced by most of the members here. I simply wanted to make these books more useful for those who have them, so I translated the table of contents to facilitate orientation within the books and to provide an overview of the topics covered there.

And if someone here is really in dire needs for a specific topic out of these books, he is welcome to ask me for a translation or at least a short English abstract of the relevant content. As long as such a request does not pop up every day and the text passages requested are not too long, I'll try to help within the time I can afford for this - but I can't guarantee that this will be always possible to me.

Thank you for the offer, if someone is taking advantage just tell them that the first is free, the next will involve a Paypal funds transaction, so much per word. Or, have them call you, and you could read it out to them, that would be a lot less time, and the expense of an international call will limit the requests. It's a kind offer and much appreciated .
