1943 91/30 Tula...hex?
Saw this today, it's a 1943 Tula Hex...is this worth picking up for $179.99 plus tax?

Folks have been buying round receiver Tulas for about that price, so I would say yes. It might have a antique tang date on that receiver.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Of the five crates, I dug through three...they had a 35' Izhevsk hex 91/30, it sold...there were four ex-snipers in there as well. I'll see what I can do about getting this one.

Without even seeing the rest I do believe you'd be hard pressed to find a better one to buy at that price, and even if you did, I'd make sure and get this one anyway. They are unique with the recycled hex receiver.
