91/30 price increase
For anyone looking for another 91/30, Fleet Farm recently raised their price from $120 to $155 for the 91/30's from Century Arms.
I hope that this isn't a trend and that they come back down a bit again. They had been up to $140 previously before dropping to $120.
I've been debating between a new .22 auto pistol that I've been saving up for or buy 3 Mosin's at Fleet but at that price
it would have to be only 2 Mosin's if I go that way.

Still $179 at Gander Mountain in Ocala, FL. Garden variety refurbs and rusty to boot. One 1942/50 MO marked and crates $179 like the guns if I remember right.

A lot of things were different before December.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Before December that would have merited a "yea, so" , now it's a "wow! Lucky, I haven't seen any in weeks" How things have changed.Cosmoline guy wrote:Amen! At least I scored some .22 rounds today.Junk Yard Dog wrote:A lot of things were different before December.

Wow! That's where I got my last Mosin back in January (rain check from a Black Friday sale). I only paid $90 plus tax. I could have bought 2 of them for that price. I wish I had now.zeebill wrote:Dunhams was $199 last week when I ambled through and hit the door empty handed. Come to think of it I haven't bought any7thing there in 2 years now. Bill
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you...

Now if I can just get lucky again and pick up a pound of powder and maybe some more primers.
What are the odds??

Re: 91/30 price increase
I paid $159.95 for a round receiver M91/30 at the local gun shop last week. This is the most money I have ever given for a Mosin Nagant long rifle. With prices going the way they are, it very well could be my last.

Re: 91/30 price increase
Not to worry, there will be others that consider $160.00 a bargin, if you don't look at the forum in 2 or 3 years you'll probably be saying why didn't I buy one at that price?tjtM38 wrote:I paid $159.95 for a round receiver M91/30 at the local gun shop last week.
