Finn Bohler-Stahl M24, pic heavy

Post by racerguy00 »

A fellow member was able to swing a multi-rifle deal, and part of it was this M24 rifle. Going off of a verbal description from the seller only, we both thought that for the price it was worth a shot in the dark. And I bought it sight unseen to help complete the deal. I think it was a good deal for sure.

A well used war-baby stepped barrel m24 that still has lots of life left in her. The bore looks pretty darn good, everything functions great. A few interesting features are the mousetrap trigger spring, the cross bolt to retain the front band (I've seen identical bolts on a few other Finn rifles), an 1896 receiver and just the overall character of the rifle. I love it. Enjoy the photos. More to come later.

Nice. I was reluctant after I cleaned it a little and saw how nice a bore it was.  When I first looked at it I thought it was a bad bore. Just goes to show you I really am blind. I even had a bore light too.

This one is following me from site to site. I'm not complaining mind you, she is not one that would get ugly as you sobered up, that's for sure.

Very Interesting placement of the serial number on the bolt, the 53 is sideways, original matching?

Welcome to the exclusive M24 club, Now you need a SIG and a straight barrel! :D

I was wondering about the bolt serial number. I noticed it right away.

Better yet, just find a SIG straight barrel. All in one!
