Good luck with the truck hunt, here in NY were everything rusts almost as fast as it leaves the dealers lot new a decent truck would start at around six-ten grand and have only minor rust. Were things don't rust away you should have better luck.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Yeah rust isn't a big problem down here. Still a good idea to go over the vehicle good though. I've seen some that were very rusty but they came from other states. I'm sure I'll have fun searching around lol. I looked on craigslist the other day and there was a good many of choices in that price range. Every car i've bought except one has been around 3 thousand so I'm not too worried about it. Im more concerned with finding a buyer for what I have haha. Around here when someone else sells something they want a fortune but when you are they low ball the crap out of you lol. Its very annoying.

That's just the art of the haggle, your stuff is always overpriced crap when it starts  and yet they want to buy it anyway :chuckles: I go through it all the time, only time I get nervous is if they hand me the cash I am asking without question or hesitation, then I know I f***ed myself somehow.

I always start every can we sell $500 over what I want for it, let them haggle all day, in the end I will be getting what I want for it.
