My AR's

Post by jfeenin »

Here are some shots of my Armalite AR-10 and LMT MRP AR-15. The LMT is topped with a Trijicon ACOG TA-11H wile the Armalite is wearing a Bushnell Trophy Tactical Red Dot. The LMT in some shots has a Grip Pod, the AR-10 a Harris Bipod.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

They are a blast but it's real easy to put a big dent in the wallet with them in short order too. :) A few years ago I never thought I'd be an AR lover but I tried one and I did indeed fall in love with it so now I have two. I can't get good preban HiCap mags for the Armalite really so I am stuck with the 10's in that until I move out of NY but really 10 rounds from that thing is a lot of power down range too.

I feel your pain jfeenin....I blame the US Army for my AR addiction. Fell in love with the Black Rifle during basic training and I have always had 1 or 2. It's a good thing I reload too as these rifles do have a healthy appetite. Nice looking AR's
A Veteran-whether active duty or retired-is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life". That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Yeah I already have plans for a new 20-24" .243 or .308 heavy barrel (long range) upper for the AR-10. However there are some things in front of it. My next purchase is going to be a 91/30. It's a little more affordable than the upper LOL.

Sweet rifles!
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
