Barbed Wire cutter

Post by collector 30 or 60 »

Does anyone know how prevalent the Mosin wire cutter attachment in ww1 was? I understand the Lee Enfield version was short lived as it was good in theory but poor in practical use. Was it the same for the Russian version on the eastern front? Thanks.

You hardly ever see one so, they must be pretty rare.

Yes, they're seldom seen these days. I wonder if that means only a few were made, or, if lots were made but only a few survived.
Either way, when found they're a unique Mosin accessory
