Back into reloading

Post by millman »

I used to reload a number of years ago. Due to a lack of interest, and my ex wife taking her bench back, I got out of it. Fast forward to this past week. I found this steel table rusting away in back of our shop. Some grinding and some spray paint later, I'm about to be back in business. .22 Hornet to start with, and then 6.5x55.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

That’s real cool Erik. The equipment looks brand new. Did you buy a kit?

No, I have had all of this since probably 2010. The press is older than that, because my ex bil gave it to me and he had used it some. So far I have made 20 rounds if .303, and 20 rounds of .22 Hornet. Once I can do a little testing, I will go all in on the Hornet.
