Need Help Identifying Mosin

Hello and welcome all,

I recently just joined this web forum and i was hoping that i could find someone with expertise to help me identify this Mosin that i just recently inherited.

I can take better pictures upon request, just let me know

Very likely the M91/59, or M38, but need better markings picture.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Looks like.an m38 because of the carbine rear sight

Awesome rifle! This a great place to learn about it. Post more pics of any marking on the barrel/receiver/stock, etc.
