Hi guys. I have a new to me 1957 Tula on the way. I believe it to be refurbed. Here is some pics. (Note: the rivet in the magazine is correct for Canadian law much the same as the import marks in the USA, so I am unsure if this post is allowed in this forum)

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C. S. Lewis

Hey it's a Russian, what more can you ask for? Not like we have tons of the Russians on our side of the border. Even with the rivet it's still a sharp looking rifle.

Easy to replace a magazine.

I believe he is in Canada. That would be a nogo there.
