M38 and 91/59 wall hangers

Post by Longcolt44 »

A lady came in to the shop selling some stuff and I bought these leather rifle hangers from her. What better to hang my 1942 (top) and 43 (middle) M38's and my 1943 91/59 (bottom) with. I will be putting up a 1942 M38 for sale (Not the one shown here) as soon as I get the pictures done.

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Cool
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

It would look really good with some Winchester in it.

You are right it would but I gave my Model 94 to my son about a year ago. I got that rifle for Christmas in 1958 and don't hunt I longer but the Kid does. On a promise that it would not leave the family, I passed it to him.
