Very nice finds. You know, call me crazy but I actually like the look of a nice M91 without the handguard. Is this one Finn marked?

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The quest begins, cleaning rod and handguard! Need to spend some time checking out the markings, didn't see any Sa marks or import marks. Came from a private collection, the guy was 94 years old. Both guns have nice shiny barrels.

Here are a few more pics. What does anyone know about the number painted on the stock, seems like I've seen info some place but can't find it at this time.

Painted numbers on a stock are usually a rack number.

Rack number could be from any country having a barracks where the rifles were stored.
