1941 VKT M39
1941 VKT M39
Finally took some pics of the my latest Finn M39. It is an all matching 1941 VKT that I was able to see pics of before I purchased and was less expensive than buying one from Classic. Bore is mint. Hope the pics came out ok.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The receiver on most M39's are scrubbed of any information. This is a nice rifle.

Very nice, congrats! The M39's are my favorite Mosin. Let us know how she shoots.
Re: 1941 VKT M39
Going to try and get to range next week with it. Amongst my Finn Mosins my Sako M/39 is a close second to my M/28-30. I'm sure this one will be just as good as my other Sako M/39

Beautiful rifle! Congratulations!! Sure makes me miss cherry picking on Burns site! I did get three different arsenal representatives before they shut down the old supply! I sure do appreciate the quality of the M39 and I think everyone should have at least one! The value on these is such that I wish I had invested heavily in them three years ago. Sorry I did not feel I could afford to. I was busy buying 91/30s at the time as well.
Again, congratulations on a very fine rifle. I know you will enjoy it as much as the rest of us do. Sweet!!

Have 41 and 42 VKT with czarist crest. Both good shooters.
Re: 1941 VKT M39
I bought an M39 from Burns literally weeks before they shut the gate. Havent had a chance to shoot it yet. Seeing yours makes me want to take mine out and drive a few rounds through it.
