Worst News Possible

Post by zeebill »

At about 7 AM this Friday morning one of the best friends I have ever had Kevin Carney passed quietly away. His fever spiked to 104 and his body just gave up on him and he passed away. I can not at this time imagine my life without my friend there to keep me out of trouble and be there for me. I cherish the years I got to spend with him and all I have learned from him over those years. He leaves a wife and a son who is attending Georgetown. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at present other than the place which will be in Fairmont, West Virginia and the specifics will be worked out Monday.

I never mentioned this during Kevin's valiant struggle to remain with us but he had little or no healthcare coverage because he was self employed and I can not imagine what the medical bills will look like. I am sure there will never be a bill any of us will face that will out weigh what this final tally will look like, at least I certainly hope we will not face anything like it. If anyone what to kick anything in email me and I will post the address of the medical fund that his friends have started in a local bank in Fairmont. I am sure the family will greatly appreciate anything you care to donate.

Other than that all I can say is Rest in Peace My Friend Kevin Carney. Bill

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Bill. You should set up a deal on gofundme.com. At least I think that is what it is. A firefighter here got robbed of children's stuff and we raised $1200 within a week so he could get a child seat and stuff like that.

Bill I'm sorry to here about this. I've was hoping he'd rally and pull through. Yesterday was the 35th anniversary of my best friend being killed, one of many that died that summer. The mention of good friends and good dogs never living as long as we wish really hits home. I just walked in from burying one of my neighbors dogs that was hit by a car and killed yesterday. I put her under 70 year old gum tree at the edge of the field she loved to run through.

I know that it is tough, but try to remember some good thing that he did with or for you. It helps a lot. My condolences

Sorry bill, that trully sucks.. I also was hoping he would pull thrugh.. On the bright side you got to see him that one last time a few weeks ago when you did not know if you could, so give thanks for small miracles, not that it makes your pain any easier to deal with right now. Vios con Dios..
