Spanish Civil War Mosin

Post by mosinowner »

About to acquire a Spanish Civil War Mosin....will be shipped to me soon....any idea as to how these value in comparison to a Russian or Finnish Mosin?
It has no import marks, bomb with MP8 cartouche on stock and Tula star with 1936 date cartouche on stock, 1936 barrel date.....Never had a SCW Mosin before....Pics when it gets shipped to me...

We will have a better idea once we see it.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Some are in beautiful condition, some are really ragged, but all are nice to have.

They typically have a special interest following that raises the value above a normal Russian or Refurb. They might be slightly less so than a comparable Finn but of course there is no accuracy statement here as there is always the "good deal" found just as we always see something that went way too high at auction.
