1969 m39 showcase consideration

Post by jonnyboy091373 »

Up for your consideration finally is my 1969 m39 on an 1898 reciever.
I bought it from a gentleman that I purchased another rifle from some time ago, and probably payed more than I should have.
Serial number is 304050, bolt matches, it is in a post war stock in good condition with lots of shims. The front sight is 8.1 and it shoots very well. The bolt is a bit stiff, but I'm sure it'll break in with use.
All in all I am very happy to have this in my collection, as it is a low production year as well as an antique.
So if you all agree, I'd like it to go into the showcase. Here are pictures.

It is a nice one for sure, but you should do up some more pictures, and take them from photobucket to the forum. You don't want them old boots in the showcase do ya? :P

Look at photos of other Mosins in the showcase to get photo ideas. You need to change lighting to remove shadows. Often forced flash will fill in the shaded areas. And yes, bring the photos into the forum here. Try for plain backgrounds too.

And I love the 1969. It is the only non war year one I would want because it is my war year - Vietnam 1969.
