Very nice!! I especially like the M38. The older refurbs with the used look are among my favorites..

It was bidding at $239 but I was scared someone would snatch it so I hit the BIN button at $259 For me, anything under $300 is a good price for an M-38Stopsign32v wrote:Yea I was watching that M38 for a minute. Very interesting piece.
More pics of everything when it shows up...

Dang I hate it when that happens. YOUR new rifles are speaking to ME. That is a nice addition to your collection.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

You use the other end with the little steel plate on it. A well placed bludgeon will do just fine.

M-39 has arrived! It is in great shape. Hopefully tonight I can take it apart and clean it up and take pictures. Can't wait to see if it is an antique!

Pat breaks them down and prices the antiques at a premium. So yours will not be, but its still fun regardless. Nice pick ups!drabnor wrote:M-39 has arrived! It is in great shape. Hopefully tonight I can take it apart and clean it up and take pictures. Can't wait to see if it is an antique!

Actually Bill, her son. Pat doesn't do much anymore. This last batch (25? or so) it is obvious that he didn't separate the antiques from the regulars.Spaxspore wrote:Pat breaks them down and prices the antiques at a premium. So who knows if it is or isn't??? To me it doesn't mean much anyway.

Me neither; it just gives a bit of a premium added to the rifle; just for people who do not have a c&r or want to deal with an ffl transfer.
