It was bidding at $239 but I was scared someone would snatch it so I hit the BIN button at $259 :devil2: For me, anything under $300 is a good price for an M-38 :2cents:

More pics of everything when it shows up...

Dang I hate it when that happens. YOUR new rifles are speaking to ME. That is a nice addition to your collection.

You use the other end with the little steel plate on it. A well placed bludgeon will do just fine.

But it's just a wee little carbine. It'll bounce off a numbskull's numbskull. :D

M-39 has arrived! It is in great shape. Hopefully tonight I can take it apart and clean it up and take pictures. Can't wait to see if it is an antique!

Pat breaks them down and prices the antiques at a premium. So yours will not be, but its still fun regardless. Nice pick ups!

Actually Bill, her son. Pat doesn't do much anymore. This last batch (25? or so) it is obvious that he didn't separate the antiques from the regulars.

So who knows if it is or isn't??? To me it doesn't mean much anyway.

Me neither; it just gives a bit of a premium added to the rifle; just for people who do not have a c&r or want to deal with an ffl transfer.
