My new Nagant

Post by Mike »

With grateful thanks to websterz, I have my first Nagant! I did the paperwork at my FFL tonight, unfortunately it went to further review, as it always does 'cos I'm a foreigner, so I probably won't actually get it until Saturday since checks are taking so long right now.

The revolver is beautiful, in excellent condition and functioning perfectly! I did get to play with it and can't wait until I can pick it up!

You forgot to say what year and arsonal.

I just got my first one last week. 1939 Tula.

I found a great video for disassembly/assembly. It will help a lot if it is full of grease gunk.

Nice Pic. Need more when you get them.

I finally got around to picking one up today. The display model was a 1943 Tula, but the one I got is an Izhevsk. It looks pretty nice though :vcool: . I haven't cleaned it up yet, but as soon as I do I will post some pics on another thread
