Re: ammo in australia
How is it for getting 303 British surplus ammo?

Re: ammo in australia
Not a hope in hell can't buy it here
Re: ammo in australia
So I guess the next question is what can you get? Is there any commercial, soft point hunting ammo for standard caliber shoulder weapons (.270 Win, .308, 30-06, etc.)? I guess if I was living in your country and relying on a firearm to protect myself and/or put food on the table, I would get a caliber that is readily available and a stash of ammo if the government allows that sort of thing.
Re: ammo in australia
I know I've sold somewhere around 10 Mosin sight tools to folks "down under" so I'll assume that someone is finding ammo somewhere or else doesn't mind paying premium prices.
Re: ammo in australia
Maybe Mick Dundee has some 303 British stashed over at Walkabout Creek?

Re: ammo in australia
What kind of ammo have you been finding?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

That is expensive for 440 spam can of 54r.
I thought the UK was bad, new shippment of 150gr Tula 54r in span cans 440 rounds = just over £100 which equals $156US $150AUD
Can you get PPU ammo in .303 ?

Re: ammo in australia
What brass are you using for your 303 reloads, do you full length or neck size them..
I use HXP and neck size for both enfields but have 2 different years 76 and 69 so I don't mix between rifles.
