1944 Izhevsk DDR /1\ M38

Post by Miller Tyme »

While DDR /1\ (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) stamped 91/30's aren't common, and M44's with the stamp are even harder to find, M38's with the stamp are very rare and don't show up for sale very often so when this one was offered to me a while back I jumped on it. It's a 1944 Izhevsk M38 and it (like it's M44 brother) is a mix master with it's bolt, mag, and butt plate EP'ed to match it's reciever. It to is in a war time Izhevsk M44 stock with a very odd looking set of screwed in sling slot eschons that I have only seen one other time before. (on another DDR M44).

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
