Re: Riots...

Re: Pair of .32 S&W Long Snub Nose
Nice revolvers. I had to break out the Smith and Wesson book to see the difference between a model 30 and a model 31 after seeing the S@W you posted up. (S@W model 31 had a long production run, that one was made up until 1993) After seeing this post and breaking out the Smith and Wesson ...

Re: Cosmoline removal 91/30 - Container idea
A quick note: Terence W. Lupin, in his 'The Mosin-Nagant Rifle' book, cautions that the stock bolt is not meant to be removed, and damage to the stock is possible if the bolt is removed. Best practice is to leave them assembled as much as possible. This opinion is based on advice from old timers no...

Thanks for the info JYD and I'm going to heed your advice and keep this as a wall hanger. My face is to pretty to have it blown up. You are one step closer to being able to furnish a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Your shotgun will look really good wherever you end up hanging it. :thum...

Re: Old Belgium side by side hammer gun
Make sure it's not 16 gauge, many of these were not marked and a 12 gauge will blow it up if it's a 16 gauge, I have seen the results of someone doing this on an old side by side. Nice find by the way.

Rifle matches, wood finish is original. 1946 BSA No 5 rifle that I paid around $350.00 (too much) for back in 2005 Shoots straight and works good though is looking a little on the rough side. I had not seen one for sale in a long time when I ran across it so this one did come home with me. IMG_0073...

Yes folks, I think it is a good time to start the annual dear Santa list again, and so that I can get better prepared, I am applying again for a C&R license which I let expire some time ago. My list could go on for awhile, but I really want: 1. Swiss K31 (Really good choice) 2. Swiss K11 (I'll s...
