What is a 1915 Westinghouse worth?

I know this is very vague and wide open. There was a 1915 Westinghouse at the gun show I went to in Hickory, NC last Saturday. Let's say the stock was dark, appeared to be a non refurb(it might have been). Receiver looked good. Minimal rust on the bolt and elsewhere. Otherwise, in my opinion, which ...

Winchester Mod 04

Here is my last purchase of guns. Hadn't planned to buy any more firearms for a while, but I just couldn't pass this one up. My wife and I had gone to the gun show in Hickory, NC today and I spotted a few Winchester Mod 04 for sale. All were in fair to good condition and priced from $375.00 up. I ha...

Re: Want to buy an M44, but...

I have an East German M44 that the numbers don't match. Who cares, It is a nice gun and I wouldn't part with for anything. The bolt does not have a number. I gave my other M44 to my grandson.

Tang mark on my 1944 Tikka 91/30

I bought a 1944 Tikka 91/30 some time back. It was posted when I bought it and is in the showcase. Here are 2 pics of the mark on the tang. Is it a Tula hammer or what? Also, is that common for this rifle. Thanks for your help.

Re: Where are all these Finns coming from?

They come from Finland. What is happening is that people get tight for money and thin the heard once they find out that the rifle they bought for $45 in 1989 will now bring $12,500. The other thing is DEATH, collectors kick off and their collections are liquidated by greedy heir's who want a pile o...

Where are all these Finns coming from?

Maybe it is just me, but it seems lately that there are a lot of Finns appearing on the board. I've been a member since Sept. 2012 and it seems that the Finns are popping up more and more. Is everyone grabbing them while they can? I don't know and I think it is great you guys can find them. I only h...

Re: Help on Spanish Mauser? 7mm

It looks very nice, and unmolested. I would be happy as a clam to make that one my first 7mm Mauser. The only drawback is ammo cost, but isn't that true of so many milsurps that don't shoot Russian ammo? I would but it for 150.00 and grin all the way home. Assuming that the bore and chamber look as...
