Re: Something nice from Beretta
Now you've done it. I shouldn't have read this thread. I want a Beretta 92s. I have two Berettas, however they are .22lr. First a model 74 that I bought in 1974 and a Beretta Bobcat. The model 74 shoots like a dream. I do have other 9mm pistols but not a Beretta and now I need one.

Re: Not a sub $100 Mosin anywhere
$100 and sub 100 are almost impossible to find these days. About a month ago I was in a local pawn shop and bought this 1939 Finn with a two piece stock for $100 out the door. (BTW a good friend owns the shop)

What??? I don't understand all this jargon I've become such an old fart that I'm trying to catch up with last month. I have to look at the newspaper several times a day just to know what day it is. Guess I've been retired too long

He is a friend that owns a pawn shop. He always give me a good deal. I've probably bought 10 guns from him in the last two years. Mosins, pistols, Makarovs. etc. We're in North CarolinaGenetically Swiss wrote:So, where is this place that is selling Finn Mosin-Nagants at 50-75% off?

Is this Finn worth $100 out the door?
Went to my favorite pawn shop today and they had this 1939 9130. It has the two piece stock and is a little rough. The stock is in good shape, however. The SA on the receiver is very faint. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, I know the pics are not very good. I took them in my basement tonight.

Re: I have some of this Czech Low Re-Coil Ammo
Got 350 rounds in a gun deal. I don't expect to shoot it all No offense but what's it worth? cheers jimB Good question. I've seen it go for as little as .45 cents a round to 2.45 per round this last year. But it is hard to find and usuall goes for over $1.50 a round (if they know what then have). B...

I took an old screwdriver and made my own tool. It is crude because I can't see as well as I used to, but it does work.

Re: Timeless Beauty For Sale
Well, the guy that bought it paid $20. He says he thinks that is about $15 too much. He actually fired this thing. Rigged it up with a string and put two rounds through it. Said it looked like a can of black pepper exploded in the snow in front of it. He didn't even clean the bore. Is the bore nice...

Re: ordered a P-64
Congrats on you P-64. I've had on a couple years and love to shoot it. It "bites" a little when you shoot but I like it because it is like James Bond's 007 Walther. I put some custom grips on mine for a while but now I'm back to the original grips,. Enjoy

Derringers anyone??
This is the only place I figured this would fit on the forum. I have four derringers: 3 - Davis - .22 cal, .25 cal, and .32 cal. The black powder is .31 cal. I have to be careful not to shoot my finger.

Re: Winchester Mod 04
I have one of those rifles I had retired due to head space problem. Excellent bore and in great shape but cases were blowing out. This rifle was never meant to use Hi Vel ammo but try finding standard velocity ammo. Closes thing is match ammo or 22 shorts. I bought a book that had all the specs on ...

Re: What type of finish?
I know this isn't nearly as bad as some, but the shellac was gone when I bought the rifle. Wouldn't change anything about it. It is my main shooter. Nobody makes fun of it when it goes BOOM
